in this land of blood and strife with morals in decay
the love of many waxes cold, fear comes in to play
few are willing to surrender all that in them is
to receive the anointing, the mark of those who are His
tribulation avoided at all cost
not willing to perish for the lost
as long as they keep living in prosperity
their senses become dulled to their vacuity
they have lost the ability to hear God for themselves
subsituting logic for discernment
busy with their programs they accomplish in His name
the real work is neglected and undone
let us leave this wasteland of whited sepulchres
fight to once again regain the love you had at first
know that He will suffer you to learn from your mistakes
but you must earnestly contend to keep your candle in its place
not all who say "Lord" will enter in
miracles cannot atone for sin
obedience is what the Lord requires
the hypocrites will find their home to be eternal fire
the leaders say they want to help the people follow God
when they really want to be followed themselves
now's the time for the body of Christ to rise up in rebellion
throwing off the bondage laid on them (by the) hypocrypha
