the battle is the Lord's
goliath and david on the battlefield
the sling and the pebble, the sword and the shield
and all who are seeing are shaking their heads
they know that the giant won't be the one dead

i'll give your flesh to the fowls of heaven"

and david His servant protected by love
and just so we realize that Jesus is Lord
the head of the giant cut off with the sword

but he will bow to the God of heaven
